My first four books (Antenatal & Postnatal Depression, Sweet FA, Frankie Says Relapse and The Scene Stealers) were for adults and published by Random House and Hodder & Stoughton between 2000 and 2005.
In 2010, I self-published my first novel for young adults, Dear Dylan. It went on to win a national book award and ended up going to auction. I still have to keep pinching myself that this actually happened, and it's proof that even your wildest dreams can sometimes come true!
Dear Dylan was re-published by Egmont UK in April 2012. It has also been published in France and Germany. My next YA novel, Finding Cherokee Brown, is being published in April 2013.
